The wonderfully clear seaside air, the landscape and one of a kind places make the Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg an oasis for cyclists and hikers alike.

Along well-maintained cycle paths you will find many lookouts that will give you an amazing view over the Baltic Sea and the untouched landscape around it. There are more advanced cycle routes through the rolling hills as well as easier routes that will take you along flat paths. For the ones who want to spend more time on their ride: explore the coast line on one of the long-distance bicycle routes.

Discover the beauty of the east coast at a slow pace, exploring the long sandy beaches and thick woods attracts both walkers and hikers to the Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg. On the F9 long-distance walking trail you will pass through small villages, Hanseatic towns packed with history and the unique nature reserves of the Baltic Sea. Simply a pleasure in any season.
