Christmas markets
Every year in December the typical Northern German Christmas markets are set up. From the end of November till the end of December you can see and experience the Christmas atmosphere among the colorful stalls and fun rides in the hanseatic cities of Rostock and Wismar. Surrounded by the venerable gabled houses the traditional Christmas markets create a particularly unique atmosphere for visitors. Musical highlights, theatrical performances, carousels, roasted almonds and spicy mulled wine conjure up a festive mood.
Visitors can breath in the romantic castle atmosphere of the traditional christmas market in Schwerin. The tranquil advent season will be surrounded by the quaint half-timbered houses and the festively decorated narrow streets of the Old Town.
